Zhou Xiaoping is a Chinese painter with a unique path. Trained in conventional techniques, he discovered the work of Australian aborigines and fell in love with their art. He then decided to learn the secrets of ancient Australian painting techniques, and settled there. His remarkable work combines these two influences and has been exhibited throughout the world. His work was the subject of a documentary ‘Ochre and Ink’, winning 6 awards in various international film festivals.
